The Assistant Store Manager is responsible for assisting the Store Manager in the overall management of the store. Additional responsibilities include: meeting or exceeding store and individual employee productivity goals, understanding store concept, providing excellent customer service, keeping store inventory at proper merchandising levels, enforcing company policies, training and motivating staff, and creating a positive work environment.
Minimum 3 years of experience in retail store sales environment
Proven track record in sales generation
Must maintain a high level of customer service
Ability to lead, develop, manage, and motivate
Strong communication skills; demonstrated ability to communicate with a variety of audiences
Must exercise discretion and judgment
Must be able to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds
Ability to work evenings and weekends; regular attendance required
Proficiency with Microsoft Office software including Word, Excel, Outlook and Point of Sales (POS) system
