The Assistant Vice President of Talent Acquisition will lead the full life cycle recruiting function and will be responsible for creating and executing strategy and building relationships with internal human capital partners and the lines of business. This role will partner closely with all areas of Human Capital for day to day activities and project management and implementations.

Essential Functions :
Create strategy for talent acquisition and determine best recruiting and selection models to meet business needs for employees. Will evaluate reporting and metrics and make recommendations for improvement.
Manage the day to day function and activities for the group, including but not limited to overseeing the placement and closing of full time positions, managing the onboarding process for full time staff, working with the reporting team to create reports to communicate out to the lines of business and internal human capital partners. Will partner with Finance to manage the resource planning models and determine staffing level needs for the team.
Lead and develop the talent acquisition team including performance coaching, regular one on one meetings and handling escalations.
Lead and participate in projects including playing an active role in implementation of new onboarding and ATS system.
Work closely with the talent development team with an expansion of structured interview guides and pre-assessment testing.
Centralize, create and implement an executive recruiting program, including acting as the main point of contact for recruiting firms, partnering closely with leaders in the lines of business, negotiating rates and contracts, and being the point of contact for onboarding executives.

10+ years of recruiting experience including 3+ years of experience leading teams in a high a volume environment. Prior agency and financial services experience highly preferred.
Demonstrated success at utilizing alternative and innovative sourcing methods.
Experience in executing a successful executive leadership recruitment program.
Demonstrated successful experience in working in a demanding, high performance work environment and team oriented culture.
Ability to work in a changing environment and see through complexity.
Strong influencing, communication and coaching skills with excellent follow through skills.
Strong business acumen including managing to budgets.
Experience in designing, developing and implementing long-term strategies.
Strong project management skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication required with the ability to consult and partner with all levels in the organization.
Ability to handle multiple competing priorities and drive to results.
Proficiency with MS Office Suite; Kenexa, and iCIMS experience highly preferred.
Bachelor’s degree in related field
