Assist in the evaluation, identifying and recruitment of quality student-athletes within the university, NSIC and NCAA policies, utilizing University Athlete and Scoutware software
  • Assist in the organizations, planning & coaching of all practices & matches
  • Assist in the evaluation of individual performance
  • Coordinates & organizes team travel accommodations & itineraries
  • Assists with the scouting of opponents including the organization of film editing, using Datavolley and Gamebreaker software programs
  • Assist with team game tape exchange, using GTX software
  • Assist in recruiting, training, and monitoring all aspects of a Division II intercollegiate volleyball program
  • Teaching responsibilities for various classes for (PESS) or other assigned duties in the Athletic Department as needed
  • Fundraising through camps/clinics and other efforts as needed
  • Administer and run summer youth and high school leagues
  • Complies with all NCAA, NSIC and university rules & regulations
  • Assists in monitoring and reporting academic success of student-athletes to ensure graduation of student-athletes

  • Minimum Qualifications:
    • Bachelor’s Degree at time of appointment
    • Minimum of (2) years of demonstrated success as a coach/teacher

    Preferred Qualifications:
    • Master’s degree or desire to obtain
    • NCAA Collegiate coaching experience
    • Knowledge of Midwest recruiting base
    • Knowledge of Datavolley, Gamebreaker, University Athlete and GTX programs and software
    • Knowledge of NCAA rules & regulations
    • The applicant should demonstrate a knowledge of and interest in diverse cultures and populations.
