His/her sport related equipment for specific sport.
Student and other information covered by FERPA guidelines and agreed to in the College’s FERPA Confidentiality Agreement.
Good office working conditions and exposure to outdoor weather conditions. The work requires the use of safe work practices and observance of general safety, health, and traffic regulations. Typical traffic conditions and hazards when visiting other campuses or other locations.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee frequently stands, walks, and sits. The employee regularly talks and hears when working with staff, students, member of the learning community, the general public and other job contacts. The employee occasionally lifts or moves athletic equipment and other work-related items of varying weights up to 100 pounds or more.
An appropriate combination of education, training, course work and experience may qualify an applicant to demonstrate required knowledge, skills, and abilities. An example of an acceptable qualification is: previous experience coaching high school or college age students or a Bachelors degree; Masters degree preferred. Successful experience as high school or college coach preferred.
Applicant must successfully pass required background checks, in accordance with Southern State Community College’s policies and procedures and applicable laws.
Ability to document identity and employment eligibility as a condition of employment in compliance with Immigration Reform and Control Act requirements.

Teach sportsmanship and set an example of good moral and physical behavior.
Work continually with the Athletic Director and other coaches to upgrade total athletic program.
Teach fundamentals, techniques, etc., as directed by the Head Coach.
Assume responsibility of assisting the Head Coach, under his/her supervision, in performing assigned responsibilities.
Perform such other duties as may be required and/or assigned by Head Coach or Athletic Director.
Maintains confidentiality of confidential or sensitive records and information.
Works assigned schedule, exhibits regular and punctual attendance and works outside of normal schedule as needed to meet workload demands.
