The Center for Education Policy, Applied Research and Evaluation (CEPARE) is an applied research and policy center devoted to promoting evidence-based decision making from the school house to the state house. CEPARE’s mission is to provide independent, non-partisan research to inform education policy and practice, and to systematically identify, analyze, and continually evaluate education strategies that significantly improve education outcomes.

CEPARE is seeking to fill a faculty position as an assistant or associate professor of research. This faculty member will assist in developing and conducting the Center’s research and evaluation projects, and securing external grants and contracts for a variety of Center initiatives. He/she will support the further development of applied research and scholarship in the School of Education and Human Development. This faculty member will also have an assistant or associate research professor appointment in an appropriate department with the School of Education and Human Development, and will be expected to teach one or more graduate level courses in the School.

A doctorate in education or a related field and a strong background in quantitative data analysis techniques and research design are required. Additional desired qualifications include an active scholarship record, graduate level teaching experience, and experience or evidence of potential for securing and conducting externally funded grants and contracts.
