Manage business and administrative operations for the Office of the Vice Dean for Research at the College of Dentistry to ensure effective and efficienty office operations and the delivery of budgetary, financial, administrative, and technical services. Manage preparation of financial reports and projects for the department and the Vice Dean. Act as administrative liaison with other University offices. Interpret and apply University policies to plan and manage complex administrative requirements.
Bachelor's degree and
3 or more years' relevant experience managing office operations and budgets or an equivalent combination of education and experience,
Related experience in a research of higher education institution.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: (include unique competencies, certification, licenses, etc.):
Excellent organization, interpersonal, and communication skills. Ability to negotiate solutions to contain problems. Ability to implement, and interpret policies and procedures and communicate sensitive information verbally and in writing to a diverse population. Good problem solving skills. Knowledge of standard office software.
