Directs the VNSNY CHOICE grievance and appeals process and day-to-day operations to ensure compliance with state and federal regulatory requirements and contractual compliance. Directs the development and maintenance of data collection systems and report preparation/analysis for grievances and appeals. Oversees management of subcontractors' operations, audits and regulatory compliance, which impact CMS star ratings. Works under general direction.

Education: Associate Degree or equivalent work experience required. Bachelors Degree in Managed Care or Health Care related field preferred.Experience: Minimum of five years demonstrated leadership in the field of health plan operations, quality improvement, or grievances and appeals required. Minimum of two years of supervisory experience required. Proficient in knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid managed care regulations required.

Effective oral/written communication, presentation skills required.
