Job Responsibilities:

ADP AdvancedMD Information Corporate Operations team is on the market for an experienced End User Support Technician to be part of a dynamic technology team. The successful candidate will utilize knowledge in the areas of desktop operating systems and applications to help install and maintain desktop and corporate IT solutions. The career will act as an escalation point for internal ADP AdvancedMD employees who need assistance with technology resolutions.

AdvancedMD End User Support Technician Duties and Responsibilities:
- Setup, configure, test and deploy Windows-based computers (Windows Server 2003/2008/2012, Windows 7, Windows 8)
- Perform day-to-day desktop support functions including: help desk functions ensuring AdvancedMD employees have the resources to perform their duties
- Deploy desktop computing solutions according to established processes and standards
- Administration of internal network resources Active Directory, MS Exchange, DNS, DHCP, Symantec Backup Exec, SharePoint, Faronics Deep Freeze, voice and data networks
- Monitor systems to ensure they are running optimally
- Manage VOIP phone systems
- Develop and maintain system and process documentation
- Asset inventory management and software licensing compliance
- Other duties as assigned

Qualifications Required:

Desired Skills and Experience
- 2+ years of hands-on experience managing Windows PCs and server applications in a Microsoft networked environment
- Knowledge in the following areas: Windows 7/8 desktop and Server 2003/2008/2012 administration and troubleshooting - System preparation and other system imaging solutions such as Windows Deployment Services (WDS), Acronis or Ghost - Experience with network services such as DNS, FTP, HTTP, DHCP, SMTP - Experience with phone and voice system support
- Additional helpful skills include: Active Directory management, security management, including group policy objects - Exchange Server administration experience - Administrative scripting in VBS, WSH and Powershell - Experience with LAN network administration - Experience with Linux or other UNIX administration - Strong problem solving skills - Project management and documentation skills
- Demonstrated ability to be a team player and willingness to assist where needed
- Genuine helpful attitude, with outstanding customer service and interaction skills
- Excellent verbal and written communications skillsEducation
- Associates degree in a technical program or equivalent work experience
