What are the job responsibilities?
- Preparation and analysis of Statutory annual and quarterly statements.
- Completes year-end audit process in conjunction with internal auditors.
- Preparation of Statutory MD&As and various other supplemental Statutory filings
- Assists other analysts and managers with complex analysis.
- Establishes, modifies, documents and implements accounting methods and control procedures.
- Shares technical expertise with others.
- Recommends process improvements.
- Provides functional advice or training to less experienced financial analysts.
- Other duties as assigned.

Who is our ideal candidate?
The Statutory Financial Reporting area of ING America's Finance Shared Services in Atlanta is currently recruiting for an Associate Financial Analyst or Financial Analyst (depending upon experience) with financial reporting experience. The individual will prepare quarterly and annual statutory financial statements and analyze financial results. The individual should have approximately one year experience in the financial reporting field.

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- CPA Track preferred
- 1 + years experience preferred (public accounting experience a plus)
- Analytical skills
- PC skills (spreadsheet packages)
- Insurance industry experience a plus
- Attention to detail
- PeopleSoft skills a plus
- Excellent oral and written communication
- Ability to work with minimal supervision as well as within a team
