Associate, Analyst Fellowship Admissions

Location : Boston, MA

About the Position :

Education Pioneers seeks a highly-motivated, efficient, and detail-oriented Admissions Associate to execute effective, scalable processes to select more than 500 talented leaders to complete mission-critical projects for leading education reform organizations. Working on our national Recruitment, Admissions, and Placement (RAP) team, the Admissions Associate will manage the implementation of key components of our selection model.

While a small portion of this role will involve direct interaction with Fellowship applicants, the majority of the Associate’s responsibilities will focus on internal project management. Successful candidates will be strong operational thinkers and outstanding problem solvers who thrive on managing multiple workstreams in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to :

Develop work plan and calendar for admission cycle
  • Define key deadlines and communicate to regions

  • Outline region activities and schedule for completion

  • Set up and monitor calendar of candidate communications

Support selection strategy development and training
  • Review draft materials (application, interview guides, Group Interview Day plan) and provide feedback

  • Support the Manager for Selection Strategy in providing training to staff and consultants to execute the admissions process

Oversee management of key stages of multi-step admissions process
  • Application and exercise screening
    • Hire and manage screeners

    • Monitor screener progress and consistency

    • Assess applications that screeners have flagged for review

    • Finalize decisions to ensure we meet our targets

  • Management and execution of interviews
    • Confirm interviewer needs and region responsibilities

    • Set up hiring processes and track regions' progress

    • Troubleshoot scheduling shifts as needed

  • Coordination and execution of Group Interview Days
    • Work with Logistics/Events Associate, Manager for Selection Strategy, and Regional Associate to confirm requirements

    • Confirm reviewer roster and ensure training has been delivered

Coordinate with regional staff to ensure talent pipelines match site targets and needs
  • Submit offer recommendations to sites, monitor offer status

  • Support regions to identify candidates to transfer across regions to better align talent to partner demands

Key Qualifications :
  • Bachelor’s degree required

  • 2-3 years of relevant work experience including strong background in data analysis and/or systems management

  • Demonstrated ability to craft detailed execution plans and update as logistics shift

  • Strong project management skills, with ability to provide clear instructions

  • Experience designing and executing large-scale, complex processes

  • Strong organization skills and attention to detail
