The Cadmus Group is seeking an Associate in its Portland, Oregon office.

Duties: Will manage Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Existing Buildings, Operations and Maintenance (EB-O+M) portfolio as well as one-off certification projects. As part of a team, will support building owners, improve operational performance, and deliver LEED EB O+M certifications. Will be responsible for management of LEED EB O+M certification projects. Will conduct LEED EB O+M gap assessments. Will conduct training sessions for client teams consisting of building ownership, property management, and building operations staff. Will manage client relationships and facilitate client/team meetings. Provide technical expertise to support the management and enhancement of the Cadmus LEED eVol online tool which is used by teams to facilitate the volume certification of EB O+M projects. Will conduct building energy analysis simulations using a variety of computer based simulation programs. Will build energy analysis software to develop energy models and build performance simulations.

Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Sustainable Design, Mechanical Engineering, or related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent) as well as 5 years of experience obtaining LEED EB O+M certification in connection with building projects. Must possess both LEED AP O+M and Certified Energy Manager (CEM) certifications. Or, alternatively, a Master's degree and 3 years of experience as noted above and must possess both LEED AP O+M and Certified Energy Manager (CEM) certifications. Also requires demonstrated expertise managing from inception to completion a minimum of twenty (20) LEED certification projects; demonstrated expertise managing LEED EB: O+M Volume certification projects; demonstrated expertise performing energy analysis and simulations using computer-based simulation programs; and demonstrated expertise with management and support of an independent, third party LEED documentation software tool or online program.
