Assists Buyer in taking on key accounts and expanding product selection

Manage accounts and develop and execute an assortment

Manage the marketing and financial strategy for area of business

Create and maintain various information spreadsheets and files as directed by Buyers

Complete department forms accurately as well as handle site merchandising of products

Manage open communication between buying group and other cross functional teams that will assure efficient execution of sales plans, merchandising strategies, inventory control initiatives, and general information flow

Facilitate open communication between buying office and warehouse/distribution center which will assure efficient movement of inventory

Maintain communications with vendor community to assure receipt of the correct merchandise under the parameters of the purchase order

Assist Buyers with assigned marketing and promotional efforts

Assist Buying group with coordination and execution of special projects as needed

Performs other duties as assigned

Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field

2 – 3 years of e-commerce experience

Experience managing open-to-buy preferred

Detail oriented with strong analytical skills

Positive “roll with it” attitude and strong work ethic a must

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Personable, outgoing personality; quick learner; comfortable with ambiguity and a willingness to take initiative

Effective at multi-tasking

Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

Ability to work with multiple teams, vendors, partners and management

Strong computer skills, particularly in Excel

Experience in the sporting industry or playing sports is a plus!
