Job Description:
We are seeking a Bachelors level candidate to join a
team of scientists manufacturing both biological and
chemical products and reagents used in microfluidic
research applications.
Responsibilities
  • Execute product manufacturing according to
established procedures, record the data, interpret
results and validate the quality of data
  • Use basic statistical tools to interpret data from
biochemical functional assays and conduct failure
analysis. Use this information to improve test and
manufacturing processes to prevent reoccurrence.
  • Produce products under Quality standards ISO 9001,
ISO 14001, ISO18001 and Class A manufacturing
principles
  • Work safely and in compliance with all applicable
federal and local regulations, following written or
electronic procedures and perform quality control
  • Ensure products are manufactured on time, within
specifications and at low cost
  • Support general lab functions, maintenance of
equipment, product quality, packaging, on-time
delivery of products, ensure cleanliness of
workplace and good general laboratory techniques
  • Participate in production procedure and protocol
revision and authorship
  • Participate in the continuous improvement of the
manufacturing methods

Job Requirements:
  • B.S. degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related
scientific discipline with 1 to 3 years experience
  • Experience with wet chemistry techniques, handling
of enzymes, reagent QC testing, as well as typical
analytical tools, such as gel electrophoresis,
Fluorescence and spectroscopy
  • Work with biological products, enzymes, DNA, or
microfluidics a plus
  • Ability to use basic statistical tools to interpret
data from biochemical functional assays;. Advanced
work with excel a plus
  • Experience using biochemical instrumentation, and
motivated to provide continuous input and
collaborate with team members
  • Capable of planning and executing experiments
independently
  • Medium to high level of routine work following
advanced protocols
  • Good interpersonal, written and oral communication
skills, proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
