The Associate Team Member is responsible for supporting the Compensation and Pension business processes within the Symphony solution; interfacing with the Health Ministries’ compensation and HR leads and the Ministry Service Center (MSC) in identifying issues or getting details for requests; and documenting requirements to resolve issues or create enhancements. The incumbent will work with IT in developing solutions; responsible for testing and implementing solutions; and providing support for deployment of new Health Ministries.

Responsibilities:
  • Analyzes issues and identifies root cause of problems
  • Works with IT to determine appropriate solutions
  • Develops, documents, and reviews business process design changes
  • Identifies opportunities for process improvement and makes recommendations that lead to improvements
  • Escalates to functional leader process and project issues that cannot be resolved
  • Tests fixes and enhancements and documents test results
  • Monitors task assignments to ensure they are performed on schedule, within intended scope and to a defined level of quality.
  • Provides subject-matter expertise of Health Ministry processes, policies and requirements in support of compensation and pension process design, testing and implementation
  • Maintains compensation and pension configuration for Health Ministries preparing for deployment as well as those already implemented
  • Supports conversion, deployment, and implementation of New Health Ministries
  • Coordinates with other team members to assure consistency and optimization of overall work product
· Performs all work with a direct reflection of the Mission, Vision and Values of Ascension Health

· Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications:
  • B.S. in Business or related field, or the equivalent, a Compensation Professional Certification; Master’s degree are preferred
  • 1-3 years plus of relevant experience in Compensation is required
  • Prior experience with PeopleSoft configuration is required
  • Prior experience in ERP implementations or large scale projects highly desirable
  • Knowledgeable in functional business area processes
  • Critical thinking, analytical skills and business acumen needed to make decisions, solve problems and manage time
  • Ability to work in team environment
  • Must be self-directed and able to work with minimal supervision
  • Deals well with ambiguity
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Excellent planning, organizational, and decision-making skills required
  • Ability to grasp technological opportunities and apply them to business opportunities and requirements
  • Flexible and open to change
  • Solid understanding of PeopleSoft functionality required
  • Ability to write SQL and use PS/Query
  • Proficient in all MicroSoft Products: WORD, EXCEL, POWERPOINT, and VISIO
