Accountable for successful execution of creative direction on assigned projects.Supervises and acts as direct report for Art Directors and Senior Art Directors.Executes high quality design work on assigned projects. Regularly reviews creative work with the group’s senior creative staff to get feedback on direction, and to ensure the work is aligned with other activities in the group. Relied upon to conceive of, design, and lead the development of high quality creative work that pushes the Apple brand forward.Interacts with cross-functional teams, product marketing teams, and executives in the Apple Online Store and Apple Retail Store. As a member of the graphic design team, the Associate Creative Director participates in the strategic shaping of, and periodically creates and executes content and interface assets for, the iOS apps (including Smart Signs) created by the Marketing/Communications team at Apple.

The Associate Creative Director supervises Art Directors under the limited direction of a Creative Director.This position requires a proven track record of exceptional conceptual and strategic thinking for iOS devices; the ability to tackle more responsibility with less supervision on more sophisticated projects; the ability to articulate the rationale behind their work, and be able to discuss that rationale with creative directors and product marketing teams; having the desire and aptitude to manage Art Directors; providing conceptual, strategic, and professional leadership for the team as a whole; participating in the operational facets of leading a design group, including staffing and resourcing; and demonstrating exceptional understanding of usability issues with regards to information design.
