We’re looking for a talented Associate Creative Director to lead, coordinate and motivate creative teams to deliver greatness. Someone who is fearless, charismatic, smart and ready to tackle any challenge with a knowing smile. More importantly, this ACD candidate will have previous agency experience and the stories/scars to prove it.
A copywriter by trade, you have experience working with Creative Directors, Strategic Planners and Client Service teams to transform customer insights into actionable ideas. Not only can you inspire a creative team to develop a fresh conceptual approach, but you also have experience executing those ideas across multiple media channels (digital, direct mail, print and video).
Why are we looking for an ACD with a writer’s background? Because this is a “working ACD” role that will require you to manage the day-to-day as well as produce it. In other words, you may be concepting and writing as well as motivating and governing others.
You know the key to producing great work requires selling it first, which is why you feel comfortable presenting in front of two or 22 people. Meeting client expectations is a must, so your communication skills are superb and that includes interacting with internal teams as well (like Client Service and Project Management). Developing schedules, deadlines and scope requirements demand it.
