The Associate Dean of Graduate Programs will report directly to the Dean of the College of Business and be responsible for oversight of all Graduate Programs in the College of Business, including Market Rate Programs, traditional Masters and Doctoral programs and all Executive Education Programs, including those in the School of Accounting. These responsibilities primarily include faculty and program oversight; including personnel selection and supervision, fiscal management, information sharing, program development and operation, and compliance with University policies and procedures. Additional duties include working with other administrators, faculty, and staff to ensure smooth and financially sustainable operations.
The Associate Dean will represent the College at various University events, standard campus administrative meetings and other functions that the Dean is unable to attend. The Associate Dean will support and participate with the Dean and other members of the leadership team in setting College goals, strategic planning, demonstrate overall leadership for their area and support for other areas, serve as the chief liaison between the faculty teaching in these programs and the Dean, and perform other duties as directed by the Dean.
As a full time University faculty member, the Associate Dean will also be involved in teaching, research, scholarly activities, and service to the University and community.
Compensation is competitive. The budgeted salary range for this position is $190,000 to $250,000. This is a twelve month administrative, tenure track line appointment that will accrue and use annual and sick leave according to existing University policies. As these programs are often offered during nontraditional business operation hours, the Associate Dean will be expected to provide significant participation in these programs, whenever these programs are being conducted, during both traditional and nontraditional business hours of operation.

The ideal candidate is a scholar of recognized stature with a doctorate in Business Administration from an AACSB-accredited institution, and a record of excellence in scholarship, teaching, and service commensurate with appointment at the full or associate professor rank.
Additionally, the ideal candidate will have a strong record of publications in well-regarded, peer reviewed journals, significant experience in teaching in today's modern technology-enhanced classroom, leadership experience in the operation and development of graduate programs, significant teaching experience in graduate education, and a working knowledge of current classroom delivery technologies. Experience with the AACSB and SACS accreditation processes is preferred. Evidence of excellence in leadership, communication and interpersonal skills is required.
