Founded in 1990, WellDyne has evolved from a dispenser of respiratory medications for Medicare patients to a multi-faceted provider of health improvement services.
Under the direction of the Vice President of Pharmacy Operations oversee clinical programs, prior authorization staff, US Specialty Care, to ensure accuracy, timely completion, and compliance.
Coordinate and assist with employee training and development.
Develop, implement, and oversee clinical programs and their outcomes.
Provide direction for and supervision of prior authorization technicians and staff.
Responsible for staffing schedules of prior authorization technicians and staff.
Review clinical prior authorizations for therapeutic appropriateness.
Develop and maintain WelldyneRx Letters of Medical Necessity ensuring prior authorization criteria are up to date and congruent with FDA approved indications and evidence based medicine.
Monitor reports and operational processes to ensure maximum efficiency (productivity reports, turnaround times, work queues, etc.).
As it relates to US Specialty Care, responsible for oversight and compliance with all board of pharmacy regulations (Each pharmacy will have a Pharmacist in Charge assigned, but the Director is responsible to audit and ensure compliance with BOP and DEA regulations).
Answer drug information questions as requested.
Monitor reports and operational processes to ensure maximum efficiency.
Coordinate prior authorization services for client groups and assist Client Services with operational and clinical issues.
Respect and maintain confidentiality guidelines of HIPPA.
Follow and aid in enforcement of all company policies and procedures.
Responsible for other duties as assigned.
Valid Colorado Pharmacist License, in good standing. (RPh)
Ability to become licensed in multiple states as required.
Three year minimum as a practicing pharmacist with direct patient care
Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to communicate effectively, patiently and courteously.
Ability to handle multiple activities or interruptions at once.
Focused team player, who can work in conjunction with pharmacists, other departments, customers, and management.
Work independently with little supervision and meet daily deadlines.
