The Associate Director of Information Management will be responsible for managing the in-flow, validation, storage, and delivery of secondary data for the US commercial organization. The role will also require assessing the needs of the Market Research & Business Analytics department and identifying the ideal data sources, business intelligence tools, and innovative solutions to meet those needs. The A.D. will be responsible for managing all data contracts with 3rd party providers, as well as identifying and deploying appropriate data analytics support resources. In addition, the A.D. will be responsible for internal partnership with the Eisai IT organization for data warehouse management, identification of IT solutions applicable to data analytics, requirements gathering, and implementation planning for data delivery solutions (including report standardization and automation).

Primary duties include:
1.Data supplier /contract management / budget management
2.New data source identification & evaluation
3.Data acquisition/ data warehouse, storage/ validations /maintenance/upgrading
4.Data investigations (knowledge of data & problem solving)
5.Business intelligence technology, system maintenance (e.g. SAS, Spotfire, Microstrategy); New technology evaluation
6.Production/reporting/automation/dashboard generation
7.Data definition & standardization

Job Qualifications
*BA required, MBA and/or advanced degree in Computer Science/IT, Business Intelligence/Analytics, Information Systems Engineering.
*8 to 10 years pharmaceutical experience.
*Data warehouse, BI systems, pharmaeutical data management and secondary data analytics required.
*Track record of successful implementation and deployment of new data sources, system upgrades, BI tools and automated reporting.
*Previous experience managing operating budget of 15 million dollars and among multiple data and technology suppliers.
