Fitch Ratings is seeking an Associate Director to join its Structured Credit group in New York or Chicago. The candidate will be responsible for supporting senior members of the team in assigning and reviewing ratings on various collateralized loan obligations (CLOs), which involves modeling cash flows, analyzing collateral, preparing credit committee reports, and communicating credit opinions to investors and issuers.

The candidate will be responsible for supporting senior members of the team in assigning and reviewing ratings on various collateralized loan obligations (CLOs), which involves modeling cash flows, analyzing collateral, preparing credit committee reports, and communicating credit opinions to investors and issuers.

The ideal candidate will have:
  • Three to five years of experience within structured finance
  • Working knowledge of the CLO market
  • Excellent proficiency in Excel, VBA, and Word
  • Strong quantitative and analytical thinking
  • Superb attention to detail and time management skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • A Bachelor's degree in finance or a business related field with significant coursework in finance
