This is an exciting opportunity for a talented individual to work with senior management from all areas of the organization to support the tactical translation of the strategic vision into operational planning priorities and ongoing tracking and reporting of these priorities. This position will report into the Corporate Planning function and will be primarily responsible for coordinating the development, monitoring and revision of Corporate Operating Plans for Business Units, Functional Groups and Strategic Initiatives in conjunction with senior management. In addition, the position will be responsible for coordinating and tracking the goals of senior management, alignment of these goals with Operating Plans and the longer term strategic vision. The position will also ensure that the Operating Plans are aligned with the product development portfolio and associated resource management.

Specific duties will include:
• Assist in the development of Operating Plans for Business Units, Functional Groups & Strategic Initiatives
• Support quarterly reviews and updates of the Operating Plans
• Align Operating Plans with senior management goals for quarterly review
• Ensure Operating Plans are aligned to support the longer term strategic vision
• Ensure Operating Plans integrate with the product portfolio and resource management
• Capture and coordinate planning for interdependencies between groups and functions
• Support senior management offsites, product approval committee reviews and the strategic planning process as appropriate
Qualifications & Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in life sciences or related field required; Ph.D. and/or MBA preferred
• 5 – 8 years’ work experience in at least one of the following areas: Biotechnology, Pharmaceutical, Medical Device, Diagnostics industries or Life Sciences consulting
• Proven project/program management experience and/or PMP certification preferred
• Experience with enterprise information management systems & data integration preferred
• Ability to effectively interact with executives and senior leaders
• Ability to triangulate information from diverse sources and assimilate into actionable recommendations
• Demonstrated leadership skills and experience
• Exceptional written, communication and organization skills
• Exceptional attention to detail
