The Downtown YMCA is seeking a mission-driven team player to implement, coordinate and supervise all aquatics activities and programs.

The Associate Director will oversee the hiring, training, scheduling and supervision of all aquatics staff, to include Lifeguards, Swim Instructors, Water Fitness Instructors and pool maintenance. Candidates must possess strong interpersonal, organizational, and supervisory skills, and demonstrate the ability to train staff and to build relationships with members.
Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills required. Must have current Professional CPR and First Aid certifications, and YMCA/Red Cross/Ellis lifeguard certification. YMCA swim lesson experience, YMCA swim lesson instructor certification, and Lifeguard Instructor certification are highly desirable. Must have experience managing staff or other professional work experience.
Salary: $28,000 - $28,000
Additional Compensation Details: Minimum salary is $28,000, plus free family metro-wide Y membership, medical, dental and 12 percent employer paid retirement, upon vesting.
