Responsible for building, testing and implementing technical solutions for projects and service requests. Under the direction of more senior engineers the engineer will implement solutions that meet architectural and operational requirements. Develops knowledge in an architecture platform or infrastructure technology and contributes to life cycle management and operational health of the platform. Performs these activities following Vidant standards and processes.

Follows continual improvement best practices by identifying and diagnosing improvement opportunities. Suggests improvements to senior engineers, solution architects and supervisors.
Adheres to standards and best practices, processes, and deliverables in accordance with standards.
Provides input to senior engineers and solution architects for standards, best practices, and process improvements.
Participates in defining operational readiness requirements.

Participates in the lifecycle management of applications and infrastructure services.
Implement new infrastructure components or applications according to requirements, specifications and standards.

Prepares and keeps technical documentation current for application or infrastructure technical components.

Specific duties related to this position include:
Provide day-to-day support and resolution for issues reported with the Changepoint and Request IT applications and work closely with the business partners to ensure timely resolution for problems, seeking assistance from System's Engineers when needed.
Monitor and ensure Daily Changepoint application Interfaces run correctly, process any errors and resolve any issues that arise.
Monitor and conduct Daily Changepoint duties to keep the application running and monitor performance issues within the application.
User provisioning for the Changepoint IS Enterprise access and Request IT access from the daily interfaces.
Create/Edit reports and Create/Edit Report Dashboards within the Changepoint application to support leadership and management reporting requirements.
Setup and Maintenance of various modules within the application such as Application/Solutions, Categories/Sub-categories, Queues, Resources, Clients, Contacts, Initiatives, Roles and Workflow.
Develop and maintain Changepoint Workflow for all modules within the application: Requests, Projects, Planning Requests, Candidates, etc.
Develop training material as needed for rollout of new functionality within the application and maintain existing training materials.
Conduct formal Classroom Instruction Training on various modules of the Changepoint application.
Serves as a resource to management and leadership in support of Resource Management and Project Management, and provides consulting to IS Staff on "how to" questions with use of the various application modules.
Participate in solution design sessions with the Compuware vendor and Lead Systems Engineer to facilitate new functionality and continuous improvements to existing functionality.
Participate in upgrades to the application, assist with UA Testing and developing test plans following standard SDLC processes.
WORK EXPERIENCE\SKILL SET
AA/AS or equivalent experience
1-3 years total work experience
Has knowledge of state-of-the art engineering technical approaches in design, build, testing, debugging problems as required by domain. (Infrastructure)
Maintains technical knowledge within areas of expertise.
Stays current with new and evolving technologies via formal training and self-directed education.
