Responsibilities: This position will focus on supporting our Cleaning Science Program. The primary responsibilities include planning and execution of experiments that support technical assessment and knowledge building in Cleaning Science, new laboratory management and maintenance, training and oversight as well as library and data knowledge management in support of the laboratory. A significant portion of the time will include experimental work in our materials and cleaning science lab as well as work with contractors, vendors and partners to gather small and large scale data, analytical or assay data and recording and managing data. The ability to analyze data, prepare and complete protocols and reports, as well as knowledge in cleaning science and validation requirements is a plus. The projects are conducted in a variety of settings, including process development laboratories, pilot plant and large-scale manufacturing facilities. Who you are

Requirements: BS/MS in material or biological sciences, chemical, biochemical, mechanical engineering or related field is required. Experience level of 1-2 years in a related field is a plus. The ideal candidate would have strong laboratory skills with attention to detail, a desire to provide excellent customer service, a passion for experimentation/data gathering and analysis and strong communication skills. Other skills include project management of requests and deliverables, problem solving, flexibility to address competing priorities in the manufacturing network as well as the ability to work independently and in teams. The candidate should be highly motivated and have good interpersonal and collaborative skills. The candidate will work in Process Development Engineering (PDE) within the Global Technical Development (PTD) Organization. PDE is a multidisciplinary engineering group that works on a number of different projects supporting pilot plant operations, gRED, clinical and commercial manufacturing in the areas of Disposables Technologies, BioProcessing Equipment and Technologies, Process Monitoring: Systems, Sensors and Data Technologies, Material of Construction for process contacting operations and Cleaning Science.
