The Cadmus Group is a dynamic, innovative consulting firm looking for an Associate Engineer to join our Energy Services team. The Energy Services Group serves public and private clients in the energy field, providing management advice related to energy efficiency and renewable energy programs, detailed program evaluation and feasibility studies, and energy efficiency standard setting.
Act as the lead engineer for impact evaluations of portfolios of energy efficiency programs.
Analyze collected data using Excel or other analytical software, identifying trends, summarizing program events, and identifying causal impacts on program results.
Manage team members and deliverables, ensuring the consistency and quality of research methods.
Contribute to technical potential studies.
Deliver reports and presentations documenting the results of the research completed.
At least 5 years of experience in energy efficiency.
Demonstrated experience managing project deliverables.
Undergraduate degree in mechanical or electrical engineering or related field.
Excellent writing and communication skills.
Willingness to travel domestically (30%).
Desire to learn and grow.
Good understanding of building systems, HVAC equipment, or residential construction.
Experience with energy efficiency impact evaluation.
Familiarity with energy monitoring and measurement equipment.
Familiarity with the energy sector or utility industry.
Familiarity with energy simulation tools (such as ENERGY-10, eQUEST, EnergyPro, or equivalent).
