Responsible for interpreting, organizing, executing and coordinating all technical aspects of project assignments. Formulates and conducts systematic problem-area resolution of considerable scope and complexity through a series of complete and conceptually related studies, or a number of projects of lesser scope. Acts as technical liaison to individuals within and outside his organization with responsibility to act independently regarding technical matters pertaining to his/her field. As a leader and authority in area of specialization, advises on complex aspects regarding technical matters. Plans, organizes, and supervises work of staff of scientists and technicians.


Bachelor's degree in the physical or biological sciences, engineering or public health from accredited program. Master's degree preferred. 13 years related experience (completion of master's degree in related field may be substituted for one year of experience). Excellent written & verbal communication skills. Strong analytical and problem solving skills. Consulting experience preferred.
