CBIZ Human Capital Services (HCS) and its HR Outsourcing and consulting provide customized outsourcing solutions, HR expertise and knowledge of best practices to effectively address all aspects of HR for clients. HCS is comprised of experienced professionals dedicated to meeting client needs with in-depth resources and extensive experience in providing HR solutions that lead to more engaged employees, better leadership, improved processes and ultimately increased productivity.

CBIZ HCS is currently searching for a talented HR professional for the Position of Associate HR Consultant in our St. Louis, MO Office. The Associate HR Consultant acts as the HR generalist for his/her assigned group of clients. The chosen candidate will get the opportunity to grow and exercise his/her HR skills for clients in a variety of industries in multiple states.

The primary responsibilities of this position include:
Resolve a full range of internal and external customer requests and projects.

Manage and assemble data and paper flow related to HR functions such as payroll processing, benefit administration, billing reconciliation, COBRA administration and employee relations assistance

Maintain HR systems and compliant employee personnel files

Provide guidance and expertise in HR related areas such as employment law compliance, leaves of absence, hiring, firing, etc.

Performing additional responsibilities, as assigned.

A successful candidate will have:
High school diploma or GED required. The most qualified candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field

Prefer at least two years of HR-related experience

Demonstrated project management experience will distinguish more sought after candidates

Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing throughout all levels of the organization, both internally and externally

Effective customer service skills

Ability to analyze and prioritize multiple responsibilities

Proficiency with Microsoft Suite software tools (Word, Outlook, Excel, etc.) is required
