We have an immediate opening for a smart, collaborative
individual skilled in the areas of online business
development and e-commerce tools, to play a critical
role in marketing, managing, and expanding our
direct-to-consumer businesses for the FIJI Water, JUSTIN
Wine and Vineyards, and Landmark Vineyards brands.
Reporting to the Senior Manager of Brand Strategy &
Digital, the E-commerce Manager will take on key
projects and responsibilities to help the team identify
and execute business development strategies, marketing
tactics and direct-to-consumer campaigns to achieve
growth and profitability objectives.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
This role will offer opportunities to gain a thorough
understanding of the FIJI Water, JUSTIN and Landmark
brands, their direct-to-consumer businesses, and provide
insights into general brand marketing and business
development initiatives. The ideal candidate will be
able to apply solid knowledge of e-commerce platforms,
analytics tools, and database marketing principles to
effectively manage and grow our e-commerce activity and
sales across all brands. The manager will be responsible
for maintaining our brands’ online stores, executing
online product offerings and promotions, defining and
deploying email campaigns, and managing key vendor
relationships in the areas of SEM/SEO, affiliate
marketing, eCRM, and partnership marketing. The right
person will also have strong quantitative skills and be
able to integrate multiple data sources to analyze
business performance, evaluate promotion results and
ROI, assess proposed marketing investments, and make
recommendations on business development opportunities.
S/he must demonstrate the ability to “see the big
picture” as to how e-Commerce contributes to total brand
success. A team player, they must be able to effectively
communicate and collaborate with management and across
cross-functional groups and agencies. In addition, s/he
will have a good working knowledge of HTML, CSS and
Adobe software suite.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Manage and deploy email marketing programs for FIJI
Water, JUSTIN and Landmark, including driving and/or
assisting in development of promotion calendar,
managing creative process and production of online
campaign assets, deploying campaigns and supporting
marketing activities, and analyzing results. Program
scope includes regular marketing emails,
auto-campaigns, reminder emails and transactional
emails.
  • Identify and manage email enhancement projects that
will improve functionality and effectiveness of
email marketing. Assess competitive websites and
programs and identify, test, and implement
feature/functionality enhancements, as appropriate.
  • Lead ongoing SEM and SEO efforts to optimize online
search results. Work closely with SEO/SEM agency on
managing and improving existing paid search,
shopping portal and CPA campaigns, identifying new
opportunities and search strategies, and driving
increased sales volume and profitability while
working within defined budget. Oversee SEO efforts,
including content management, site design, and
functionality and drive ongoing improvements.
  • Direct affiliate marketing initiatives, including
managing affiliate marketing partners, developing
affiliate offers and compensation incentives, and
generally growing customer acquisition and sales
through affiliate marketing programs.
  • Identify and execute paid and non-paid customer
acquisition initiatives as well as lead generation
campaigns.
  • Manage online store(s), including development and
updates of overall content, uploads of products and
campaigns, administration of promotion coupons,
price lists, customer groups, and setup of business
rules.
  • Improve the quality of the brands’
direct-to-consumer business data and reporting.
Create key business reports and provide ongoing
reporting related to sales, profitability, marketing
spend and campaign performance, using multiple data
sources (e.g. order management system, web analytics
tools, eCRM database, etc.).
  • Assist with annual budget development and
management; track ongoing spend, process vendor
invoices, manage accruals. Provide support during
general business planning and review cycles,
including gathering performance data, preparing
analyses and building materials for management
presentations.
  • Identify and analyze new marketing spend proposals
and business development opportunities and make
first-pass recommendations on business investments.
  • Generate ideas and aid with preparation of
marketing/sales materials for various business
development initiatives, including presentations,
proposals, sell-sheets, price lists, customer
acquisition and lead gen collateral, and other
relevant documents.
  • Identify and support projects related to e-commerce
infrastructure and tools.
  • Support the customer service function, when
required, by performing order entry, responding to
customer inquiries and issues, and ensuring
coordination with logistics.
  • Work with brand marketing, PR and other departments
on coordinated consumer marketing initiatives,
creative messaging, multi-platform campaign support,
etc.

Job Requirements:
  • Four-year college degree, ideally in
business/marketing or other related field
  • Graphic design degree, certificate or solid
knowledge of web design tools/software and languages
preferred
  • 2-3 years of experience in B2C online marketing
  • Strong knowledge of SEM/SEO and affiliate marketing;
experience managing vendors preferred
  • Familiarity with email delivery systems (e.g.
Silverpop)
  • Good knowledge of HTML, CSS and Adobe software suite
  • Highly numerate and analytical
  • Strong MS Excel skills required, working knowledge
of MS Access required
  • Very good knowledge of MS PowerPoint and ability to
build and deliver presentations required
  • Conscientious, strong attention to detail,
self-starting
  • Good communication and organizational skills
  • Strong teamwork orientation and cross-functional
management skills
  • Ability to multitask and work independently without
much direction or supervision
  • Strong aptitude for learning new tools/processes and
problem-solving
  • Familiarity with Oracle/Oracle-based systems and
related reporting tools a plus, but not required
  • Familiarly with Magento e-commerce tools a plus
