As an Online Marketing manager in the NA SMB Online Marketing team, you will play a critical role in delivering on revenue and business priorities by managing execution of strategy for the small business offline segment on PayPal.com. As a specialist and a generalist in the online disciplines, you will create and manage the roadmap and work cross-functionally with marketing/product managers, SEO experts, and developers to create compelling, effective, and innovative online experiences that result in user satisfaction and conversion. The website is where PayPal gets most of its businesses from and you will get to work on programs that directly impact customers in the offline space.
Understanding how users interact with different site features and how these features affect users' behaviors, understanding user intent, and analyzing the results of extremely large-scale online experiments.
Advise marketers on possible outcomes or implications of proposed strategy.
Turn the insights into marketing strategy and drive action based on those insights.
Using data to understand user experiences and finding ways to improve them.
Lead and co ordinate cross-functional teams in product development and technology teams to ensure that web marketing projects are executed in the right manner to be able to interpret accurate results from the experiments.
Communicating results of analyses to various levels including executive management to help the business make decisions based on data.
Evaluate ongoing programs from an ROI perspective to support the business's focus on the biggest and highest return marketing investments.
Partnering with analysts and business partners to understand how users interact with the site, and how site features affect users’ behaviors.
Partnering with web product managers to define requirements to track our customers better.
Analyze and monitor the business impact of newly-launched products.

BS with 6+ years or MS with 4+ years of relevant experience.
Background in Internet Marketing (Conversion optimization, SEO, SEM, etc.)
Outstanding ability to clearly communicate data, context, and implications as well as statistical concepts to business partners
Advanced proficiency in Excel.
Experience in presenting to executives.
Experience in web site design, web analytics or running an online business is strongly preferred.
Must be able to collaboratively solve problems and deal with conflict.
Strong communication skills including ability to present insights and recommendations.
Intellectual curiosity, passion for problem-solving, and comfort with ambiguity.
Ability to thrive in a cross-functional environment while juggling multiple responsibilities.
Ability to interpret business performance reports and understanding of financial statements is a plus.
Background in marketing to SMBs in the offline/ point-of-sale space is a plus
