Altria Group Distribution Company’s role is to provide sales, distribution and consumer engagement services for Altria’s tobacco operating companies. We are currently seeking a highly qualified Associate Manager Program Execution to join our Customer & Marketing Services department in Richmond, VA.
The successful candidate will lead the execution of highly complex, integrated digital one-to-one promotional programs to include promotional planning, development, end-to-end testing, and post-launch program management.
Specific accountabilities include:
Delivering multiple promotions serving millions of participants with a budget of $10,000,000+.
Managing end-to-end life-cycle of very large scale and complex consumer engagement programs (i.e. program-related expenditures, timelines, supplier workflows, etc.) across multiple Operating Companies and typically including new or seldom-used engagement processes requiring long lead times.
Interacting with the Brand Marketing organization, other internal stakeholders and various, diversified Suppliers.
Identifying opportunities and tactics to deliver a superior Adult Tobacco Consumer experience across multiple engagement channels including web, SMS, UGC and call center.
Analyzing current and past promotion performance data and proactively identifying and communicating risks and opportunities.
Participating in and providing leadership to cross-functional projects impacting multiple Operating Companies, Event Marketing, external Suppliers and the use of digital technologies.
Building business cases and selling concepts to Senior Management and Brand Management Teams.
A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Business / Information Technology or similar plus a minimum of 5+ years relevant experience is preferred.
Demonstrated knowledge of digital tools and techniques used to engage consumers such as websites, SMS/MMS, User Generated Content, and mobile applications.
Excellent communication (oral and written) and consultation skills.
The ability to work independently with minimal supervision, and as a team member.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
A thorough understanding of project planning and the ability to develop and execute complex project plans with numerous internal and external stakeholders.
Strong collaborative and listening skills.
Project Management Certification is preferred.
Limited Travel is required.
