Position Summary: This Men's Ministry Associate position will focus on creating a movement of disciple-making within Men's Ministry. It will have an added component of bridging the next generation to Men's Ministry; this will require working closely with Student and Post Ministries. The role will be primarily an equipping role; equipping men to reach the un-churched as well as to make disciples who make disciples.
Position Qualifications: Baptized believer in Jesus Christ and active member of Southeast Christian Church. This position requires a thorough knowledge of Scripture and a proven record of sharing their faith in peer-to-peer relationships. Proven communication and organizational skills, and computer skills are needed in Word, Excel and Power Point. This person should also be a team player with a servant's heart.
Duties/Responsibilities will include:
Partners with Team Leader to create a movement of disciple-making with an emphasis on peer-to-peer evangelism.
Equipping men to become intentional in sharing their faith and making disciples who make disciples so that the Kingdom of God is advanced in Louisville & beyond.
Equip and create a movement of men who will engage in the next generation through disciple-making and relationship building.
Is prepared to report updates and progress in disciple-making and next generation efforts.
Serves on the Men's Leadership Team and attends all quarterly meetings. Will be prepared to report on a minimum of quarterly disciple-making and next generation efforts and progress.
Shepherds disciple-makers and manages conflict and moral issues that may develop.
Assists with Bible study as needed.
Assists Men's Ministry team with special events or other projects.
Responds to voice mail and e-mail within 24-48 hours.
Attends weekly staff meeting and reports updates in disciple-making and next generation efforts and progress.
Attends monthly all-staff meetings.All other duties as assigned by Team Leader.
