Role and Responsibilities:
Be creative and develop new ideas to drive traffic and sales for partners
- Help create strategy and drive execution of marketing and promotional plans with shopkick’s retail partners
Contribute to and/or lead projects; developing strong working relationships with partners and cross-functional teams such as: Product Management, Engineering, Operations, PR & Legal
Wholly own some account relationships, as well as help manage day-to-day operations and implementation of partner activities
Travel and visit partners occasionally (about 1-2 travel days/month)
Use deep understanding of data, user insights, and business objectives to help company make reasoned decisions
Help scale partnerships business by developing and sharing best practices across entire business
The ideal candidate can drive and understand overall business strategy, but is comfortable dealing with the day-to-day details of running a successful partnership
2 - 3 years’ work experience; experience in consulting, account management/partner relations a plus
Excellent client management and communication/interpersonal skills; must be comfortable speaking with partner contacts and shopkick executives
Analytic capacity to distill insights from large quantities of information
Natural leadership ability to drive results in collaborative, cross-functional environments
Must be proficient in MS Office; must be extremely comfortable with PowerPoint and creating compelling presentations as well as Excel; strong business writing/presenting skills required
Adaptable and flexible; work extremely well under tight deadlines while wearing 16 different hats
Strong results-orientation and ability to be a true self-starter
Analytical problem solver, with ability to provide insights based on both data and intuition
Strong written and communication skills
Ability to present to all levels of management internally and with partner
Ability to work under ambiguity and create plans for insights and ideas
Startup experience, especially in mobile
Experience in creating and executing marketing plans
Black belt in shopping
BA/ BS in Business or related field required
