ASSOCIATE PRODUCT MANAGER RESPONSIBILITIES
The Associate Product Manager will have immediate responsibility on a major new product launch initiative. Through personal contributions, core business expertise, and deep understanding of clients/stakeholders, the Associate Product Manager has 5 core responsibilities: new product opportunity assessment, key stakeholder and user input solicitation, new product development, testing and validation, and product launch support
Assess product opportunities
Use knowledge of core business and its stakeholders to identify and evaluate opportunities for new products, additional features, or improvements.
Assess these opportunities for their return on investment, make recommendations to management, and help the team prioritize the initiatives
Key stakeholder and user input solicitation
Gather and synthesize data from key stakeholders to test hypotheses of new product viability
Maintain channels of communications with key stakeholders throughout the product development cycle for further product refinement
New product development
Inclusively develop product specifications / prototypes / mockups that clearly and concisely define the product to be built
Facilitate the building / execution of a new product via interdisciplinary communication of product and objectives to Operations, Engineering, Sales, and Senior Management
Testing and validation
Fully confirm all product features and assumptions through robust testing and piloting, with a critical eye for improvements to the initial specifications, and positioning
For all new methods and technologies plan and execute robust and strategic validation, with special focus on areas most valuable to our end users
Product launch Support
Generate the relevant content for the training, marketing, and support needed pre-launch
Present and demonstrate your new products to the company and its top clients
Collect, evaluate and report post-launch data and feedback to senior leadership

Product Management Skills- Top candidates can quickly distinguish the important from the urgent and to prioritize and plan time and resources appropriately.A top candidate will have demonstrated the ability to keep the focus on the key problems to be solved that generate the greatest value.
Communication Skills- You will need to effectively influence the product team and senior executives on a regular basis while also engaging users and stakeholders, which requires outstanding writing, speaking, and interpersonal skills.
Storytelling and Salesmanship- For any given initiative, you may be the primary interface with the rest of the company. As such, you will be required to build consensus while establishing buy-in and support from company finance staff, marketing, sales, and executive management using their business concepts and language.
Aesthetic Sensibility- Candidates need to have a keen eye for what looks good, with particular focus on developing deliverables that simply represent complex data, in an aesthetically pleasing way.
DESIRED EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
2-5 years experience in an initiative leadership role (e.g., brand, product or program management)
Experience in a relevant domain (innovation, creative collaboration) and familiarity with our client characteristics (large, global, consumer marketing companies) is valued
MBA is preferred but does not trump track record
