This tenure track position is assigned the primary role of developing a Phase I cancer clinical trials program at the University of Kansas Medical Center and its affiliates. Incumbent will establish a strong collaborative relationship with the KU Cancer Center Drug Development and Experimental Therapeutics program. Work will also include education of fellows, residents and medical students, and clinical service.

Required Qualifications

MD or MD/PhD Board Certified in Internal Medicine. Eligible for Associate Professor/Professor of Medicine faculty appointment.

Preferred Qualifications

NIH/National Cancer Institute funding. Significant experience in designing and conducting Phase I cancer trials including trials with novel targeted agents and cytotoxis agents, pharmacokinetic/pharmacodynamic assays, and translational molecular correlative studies.
