Oregon State University invites applicants for an anticipated full-time (1.0 FTE), nine month, tenure-track Associate Professor or senior Assistant Professor in Strategy and Entrepreneurship with interest in beginning September 2013. Candidates with interests in commercialization and innovation, as well as prior experience working with doctoral students are preferred. The College of Business has 2198 undergraduate majors, 659 minors and 90 graduate students. Candidates for this position are expected to play a critical role helping the College launch a new Ph.D. program in Commercialization and Innovation. The College of Business joins with other departments and colleges in new initiatives to respond to the needs and concerns of OSU's increasingly multicultural student body, and to join the ranks of top tier colleges of business across North America in teaching excellence, cutting edge research, industry partnerships and community service.
Position Duties
45% Teaching - high-quality teaching of undergraduate courses in strategic management and entrepreneurship with the possibility of future teaching in graduate courses in strategic management and entrepreneurship.
45% Research - scholarly performance will be demonstrated through the publication of research results included in, but not limited to, peer-refereed scholarly journals.
10% Service - participate actively as a member of the university community: on administrative committees, search committees, and university governance activities, as well as service to one's professional community.

Minimum/Required Qualifications
An appropriate earned doctorate from an AACSB-International accredited university or equivalent with an emphasis in strategic management or entrepreneurship, or both.
Evidence of research and scholarly publication and teaching effectiveness.
Teaching experience at the university level commensurate with job requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
(1) Prior experience working with doctoral students, including the delivery of doctoral seminars or chairing/serving on doctoral dissertation committees.
(2) Research interests in the area of commercialization and innovation.
(3) Demonstrable commitment to promoting and enhancing diversity.
