Compliment and synergize with productive University of Toledo cancer researchers with interests in biomarkers of cancer metastasis, cell signaling, and development of novel therapeutics targeting cancer gene expression, cell death and invasion in selected cancers. The faculty member will spend the majority of time in independent research activities, writing grant proposals and will also contribute to medical and graduate education.
Qualifications:
Applicants must have a Ph.D. or M.D. degree with 3 years Assistant Professor experience and a demonstrated track record of peer reviewed publications and research excellence, a solid record of productivity and evidence of sustained extramural national funding.
Required to have current extramural grant funding.
Demonstrated ability in relating research results to others within and outside of the discipline.
Ability to convey complex material to graduate students.
Ability to read and write English vocabulary
