The Associate Relocation Consultant (ARC) is responsible for day-to-day service delivery of an assigned client(s)’ relocation program. The ARC will act as the single point of accountability for the transferring rental employee. This includes transferees who are a renter at their point of origin. They will also ensure programs are administered according to client’s policies/contracts. This position must exemplify all SIRVA's core values at all times.
Specifically, the ARC will:
Primary contact to the relocating employee in administration of client's relocation program. Responsible for communication with relocating employees. Research and propose solutions for problem resolution and possible exception processing for relocating employees to maintain customer satisfaction. Responsible for maintaining a working file, including but not limited to, documenting client updates, policy exceptions, conversations and transactions. Responsible for handling policy administration and explanation, lease cancellation and destination services.
Responsible for achieving position/client metric goals for all revenue opportunities. Specifically this includes homefinding for their transferees.
Assist the Relocation Operations training department as requested/as needed. This would include mentoring for on-the-job training, employee development and acting as a subject matter expert. Provide direction and feedback to new team members and constructive performance feedback to management.
Responsible for communicating potential policy and process changes to Relocation Manager and/or Client Services Director to improve client satisfaction. Partner with supplier/resource management to provide feedback on supplier performance.
The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:
High school degree required - undergraduate degree preferred
1-2 years relocation experience as a Relocation Associate or equivalent related business experience
Strong problem solving and conflict resolution skills
Financial/accounting knowledge preferred
Understanding and embracing the direction/strategy of SIRVA Relocation
Strong oral and written skills
Must be organized, able to function as part of a team, be quality focused
Strong customer service skills
Strong computer skills
Detailed understanding of all components related to homefinding processes
