Job Scope: Generate maximum revenue growth for point of sale in the restaurant hospitality industry using Miller/Heiman Strategic Selling and Conceptual Selling techniques.


Develop lasting relationships with customers in order to maximize revenues for the company. Understand and articulate information regarding leading edge products & services. Prepare proposals that include hardware, software and services in order to meet or exceed monthly and annual sales & revenue objectives. Respond to customer requests for proposals that include all areas of products & services. Mostly relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines. Interface with Implementation personnel to understand the inner workings of the products and present this knowledge to Customers. Represent the Company at meetings to promote the product. Prepare periodic sales reports showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed client base expansion. Extensive local and some domestic travel is expected. Due to the nature of this position, employee may be subject to extensive background checks (including fingerprinting) by MICROS customers and/or vendors as a condition to conduct business on their premises. Other duties may be assigned. This job has no supervisory responsibilities, but may provide feedback regarding the performance of other employees who have contact with their accounts


Associate Degree and a minimum of 1-2 years related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Proficient with MS Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook. Experience selling or working in hospitality or like industry. Ability to understand client needs and demonstrate the impact & value/ROI of products and services. Comprehensive knowledge of how products and services can positively impact organization operations. Ability to communicate and provide excellent product demonstrations. Ability to learn technical aspects of the products. Relationship-building skills: Capable of building and perpetuating profitable business partnerships and relationships, which promote long-term success. Working knowledge of spreadsheet software and word processing software. Must have reliable transportation, valid drivers license and have the ability and desire to travel locally 90% of the time, with occasional out of town travel. PHYSICAL DEMANDS While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and/or stand and may occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
