BA/BS in Sciences
Demonstrated skills in Microbiology disciplines, Aseptic technique
Work experience in a cGMP /cGLP environment
Familiarity with FDA regulations and guidances
Ability to assemble and operate equipment /instrumentation
Knowledge of computers (ie MS Word, MS Excel
Ability to lead one or more projects
Familiarity with GDP
Excellent verbal and written communications skills
Communicate keen observations
Communicate status of projects and implications
Excellent data analysis and problem solving skills
Ability to recommend and implement solutions to problems
Interact and communicate with laboratory management and internal customers (ie project managers)
Execute protocols and write final reports.
Perform filter validation testing (including all supporting work) to include, but not limited to:
Perform testing of hazardous chemicals (ie cytotoxic) in an isolator
- Viability testing
- Compatibility testing
- Integrity testing
- Bacterial retention testing
- Absorption testing
- filterability testing
Support and perform other lab projects utilizing standard and non-standard laboratory procedures and/or protocols.
Support in the maintenance and operation of the laboratory. Tasks include but are not limited to :
Routine cleaning and disinfecting of laboratory work areas.
Media preparation, (to include media validation)
Culture media qualifications tests
Cleaning of glassware
Preventative maintenance and calibration of equipment /instrumentation
Qualification of equipment/instrumentation
Procurement and inventory of filters and supplies
Analysis via microscope
Conduct laboratory investigation and issue report as necessary
Write laboratory procedures and protocols, as necessary
Comply with company policies and written procedures
Other duties may be assigned.
