The primary function of this position is to perform daily administration tasks and to resolve ASH staff technical support issues in the most efficient and effective manner

Responsibilities Include:

· Performs daily systems administration tasks

· Creates new logins.

· Changes passwords.

· Grants user permissions.

· Performs restores as needed.

· Maintains desktop configuration images.

· Monitors desktop and Vmware ESX servers vulnerability scan reports and remedies any identified issues.

· Manages corporate virus scanning system.

· Supports corporate scanning implementations.

· Ensures backup tapes are taken off-site daily.

· Provides support to systems support technicians.

· On call 24 hours a day

· Assists systems administrators with server/network application support, maintenance and deployment.

· Provides Help Desk support

· Performs end user technical support as needed.

· Acts as backup support technician as needed.

· Prepares documentation and submits progress reports on a timely basis.

· Attends industry seminars, conferences, training classes and reads industry journals to stay current on technology.

· Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Education/Training/Experience/Licenses

· High school diploma or equivalent. MCP or other Microsoft certification required.

· Minimum 1 year experience as a systems administrator in a windows environment. Certifications will be taken into consideration for experience requirement.

· Knowledge of Windows XP, Windows 2000/2003 networks, VMware ESX servers and VDI environments, SharePoint services, Microsoft CRM, HP Proliant servers and Exchange preferred.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

· Strong working knowledge of Windows Server 200x, Windows networking, and Active Directory.

· Excellent troubleshooting skills.

· Excellent communication skills.

· Strong ESXi and VDI support skills

· Must be a team player.

· Ability to exercise strict confidentiality in all matters.

· Demonstrated ability to interact in a positive, respectful manner and establish and maintain cooperative working relationships.

· Ability to display excellent customer service to meet the needs and expectations of both internal and external customers.

Mobility: Primarily sedentary, able to sit for long periods of time with ability to travel within and outside the facility.

Physical Requirements: Ability to speak, see and hear other personnel and/or objects. Ability to communicate both in oral and written form. Ability to travel within the facility. Capable of using a telephone and computer keyboard. Ability to lift up to 10 lbs.

Environmental Conditions: Within facility, normal office conditions, including lighting and ventilation. Minor noise from conversations and general office equipment (telephone, printer, etc). When required to travel outside the facility, usual weather, traffic, and related conditions are applicable.
