1. Supervises individuals employed in the: Center for Student Success, Library, Center for Faculty Excellence and Innovation; also directly supervises The Director of Academic Success
2. Supports Academic Affairs and the School Deans in program assessment, improvement and development through collaborative efforts with relevant offices involved in curriculum development; student learning outcome assessment and reporting; writing across curricula and follow-up activities
3. Assists Academic Affairs and the School of Dean with faculty evaluations; classroom observations and conducts investigations regarding student complaints about faculty
4. Drafts annual planning and budget documents; and provides related periodic reports
5. Serves on college committees and attends meetings
6. Develops professional development programs for academic affairs personnel; provides input for annual leadership team retreat
7. Performs related projects and initiatives as assigned

Required Qualifications:
1. Master’s Degree
2. Three years’ of experience in senior level academic administrator position
3. Five years’ supervisor experience
4. Three years’ experience in faculty and program development
5. Three years’ teaching experience
6. Two years’ academic and strategic planning and assessment experience
7. Two years’ experience working with Microsoft Office Suite

Preferred Qualifications:
1. Doctorate Degree
2. Two years’ teaching experience in a community college setting
3. Two years’ community college administrative experience
4. Two years’ experience applying innovation and technology to instructional activities
5. Two years’ experience working in a collective bargaining environment

Hours of Work:
An administrator position has professional obligations which require an incumbent to work evenings and weekends. For the administration of vacation and sick leave time, administrator positions are normally assigned a work schedule of 35 hours/week Monday through Friday. Compensation and benefits are in accordance with pertinent Board of Trustees Policies and the Handbook for Non-Affiliated Administrators.
