The Healthcare Industry Group (“HIG”) is at the forefront in delivering transformational change to the Healthcare industry. A&M’s dedicated healthcare professionals have established a long and successful track record of working with management, boards of directors and stakeholders of both investor-owned and non-profit acute and post-acute providers, payors and suppliers to improve financial, operational and clinical performance. HIG is seeking a part-time intern to assist with business development activities.

Responsibilities:
Work with teams of experienced professionals on a diverse range of complex assignments to carry out our comprehensive healthcare industry services including strategic advisory; financial, operational and clinical performance improvement; interim, crisis and contract management; turnaround and restructuring, transaction and financial advisory; compliance, governance and investigations. Develop, analyze and review business plans for clients, as well as cash flow forecasts in support of plans. Conduct analyses to measure and quantify bottom line impact of operational improvements. Develop 13-week cash flow forecast models, liquidity analysis and management, 12-month debtor operating plans/pro forma financial statements, and liquidation analyses and divestiture. Assist in debt and creditor renegotiations, operational turnaround, and internal and external benchmarking. Understand the key operational performance drivers of a business and extract useful information from large sets of unorganized or incomplete data.

Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Business Administration or Healthcare Administration/Management

Two years of consulting experience that must include working with complex cash flow forecasting & 13-week financial modeling with advanced Excel; process/value stream mapping and optimization for core processes including APQC & SCOR; end-to-end sourcing process, building large data files and conducting sourcing events; cost cutting efforts; and capital optimization. Significant domestic travel required. Destination and frequency unable to predict.
