You'll join the Hardware & Home Improvement (HHI) group, a division of Stanley Black & Decker (an S&P 500 company) that represents over a billion dollars in total annual sales and supports some of the most recognizable hardware and home improvement brands in the world. The SBDHHI group is part of the company's Security division. HHI develops, manufactures, markets and sells builders hardware, residential and commercial door hardware, kitchen and bath faucets, shower systems and bath accessories under the Stanley, National Hardware, Kwikset, Weiser, Baldwin, K2 and Price Pfister brands.
To be a good fit for this opportunity you will have:
A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
At least 2 years of tangible product sales and/or marketing experience in online, wholesale or showroom channels of distribution.
Strong presentation skills.
Literacy with common business software, such as Microsoft Office Suite.
Good organizational skills.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Experience with strategic brand planning, direction setting and implementation will be a plus.

You will be required to travel domestically up to 30% of your time, primarily to attend trade shows and make customer visits. You should also be able to work more than 40 hours weekly and weekends, as needed.
Reporting to the Sr. Manager, Channel Marketing, as the Assistant Channel Marketing Manager, you will lead all channel marketing initiatives for our showroom channel for the Baldwin brand, which will include creating, administering and managing the channel marketing activities within this high-end showroom space.
We'll look to you to put together the right strategies, pricing and promotions for the products to drive market share growth. Working closely with the Baldwin showroom customers and a variety of cross-functional teams and key contacts, including the Baldwin Product and Brand Marketing Managers, Sales, Finance and Creative departments, you will also serve as the primary point of contact for our third party vendors for merchandising and promotional collateral.
There are approximately 250 independent Baldwin showrooms across the country, where it will be your job to create that high-end, luxury customer experience, while also ensuring the solutions are scalable and efficient.
More specifically, you will:
Develop merchandising and promotion strategies with Sales Management and product Marketing for Baldwin and RAS showrooms, lumberyards, wholesalers, online retailers, and security dealers/ wholesalers.
Execute marketing plan initiatives relating to new product introduction, co-op advertising, merchandising, shelf space allocation, and off-shelf placement.
Expand Residential Access Solutions penetration through displays, sales tools, and training communication vehicles, customer incentive programs, and tradeshow support.
Work with Brand team to develop and produce communications and promotional initiatives such as national and account specific promotions.
Facilitate and develop presentation material to support the sales team—with special focus during product introduction and product rationalization activities.
Manage channel conflicts through Pricing Change Requests per financial guidelines agreed upon between finance, channel marketing, and sales.
Manage annual discount structures and preferred partner programming on an annual basis.
Develop key relationships with customers and sales team to drive commercial plan goals and uncover new co-marketing opportunities with the Baldwin brand.
Maintain and enhance the functionality and content on web-retailer sites through established vendor portals.
