This role is located in Washington, DC.
In coordination with the Director, oversee and manage the administration of the NYU Washington, DC Center (human resources, budget management, analysis and reporting, facilities management, major supplier contracts). Act as liaison with various offices in New York.
Bachelor's degree in business administration or accounting.
Four years of progressively responsible experience in finance and administrative role, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience with financial analysis and reporting, as well as business accounting.
Previous experience in an academic organization.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Strong leadership and project management skills as well as strong analytical, communications and interpersonal skills. Proactive with exceptional problem solving skills. Strong technical skills in accounting and computerized system management.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Familiarity with financial software (PeopleSoft, Brio, FAME, Hyperion).
