Serve as a receptionist and handle telephone calls as required
  • Process incoming mail
  • Prepare periodic reports based on test data
  • Assist with teacher records for payroll as it pertains to tutoring hours
  • Create, develop and maintain files pertaining to the special needs of the office
  • Type, copy and collate materials
  • Develop procedures pertaining to test distribution and retrieval
  • Order and maintain supplies, as needed
  • Supervise student workers
  • Accomplish assignments using computer software to create forms, data, memos and other documents
  • Organize and maintain calendar for the Dean of Instruction
  • Distribute instructional materials to teachers
  • Create plan for tracking lesson plans
  • Maintain staff development information and catalogs
  • Perform all other tasks and duties as assigned
  • Qualifications:
    • Accredited Senior High School Diploma or equivalent (U.S.A. equivalency)
    • Ability to successfully complete assignments with close supervision
    • Ability to communicate orally and in written form
    • Knowledgeable of personal computers and the ability to operate office equipment, as required
    • Knowledgeable of computer software programs, including Microsoft Office Professional
    • Knowledgeable of district organizations, operations and administrative policies preferred
    • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks
    • Demonstrated strong record keeping skills and highly detailed oriented
    • Demonstrated ability to interface with all departments in the District
    • Demonstrated knowledge of district organizations, operations, administrative policies and testing procedures
    • Demonstrated organizational, prioritization, communication, customer service, supervision, and interpersonal skills required to achieve the goals of the position
    • Have ability to maintain confidentiality
