Morgan Lewis is currently seeking an Attorney Recruiting Coordinator for our Washington, DC office. This position works closely with the Washington Office Attorney Recruiting Manager to support local recruiting efforts.
This position will receive and review incoming entry level and lateral candidate resumes; respond to applicant inquiries and handle candidate communications; assist manager with initiating searches using online sources and job sites; maintain and process fee agreements with search firms; coordinate scheduling, screening and interviews with candidates and attorneys; maintain applicant tracking and generate reports; coordinate on campus interview process, including on campus interview registration, resume screening with law schools, and schedules callback interviews; travel on-campus and accompany attorneys to on-campus interviews; welcome students in hospitality suites; prepare and process candidate travel expenses; gather candidate evaluations and facilitate candidate decision making and offer process; assist with preparation of agendas for committee meeting; attends meetings as directed; assist with coordination of the summer associate program including orientation, activities, assignment coordination; maintain relationships with law school placement offices and assist with student outreach activities; assist with organization and planning of student receptions; assist with entry-level associate hiring and arrival process including orientation, conflicts, bar admission, stipends and expenses; and field daily recruiting/legal personnel questions from attorneys, fall associates, summer associates and laterals.
Qualified applicants must possess a Bachelor's degree and one to three years of recruiting experience either in a law firm, law school, or professional services environment. A strong working knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint and recruiting database experience a plus.
The successful candidate will have an interest in working in fast paced environment, assisting with the development of innovative means to cultivate high caliber talent, be proactive in supporting office and firm initiatives, be flexible, dependable, organized, customer service oriented, a clear communicator and have interest in collaborating with team members in other offices and departments.
