POSITION: Audit Partner
Partners contribute to the success of the Firm by providing superior client service and relationship management; developing their technical and specialty capabilities; providing leadership; managing resources; developing business; and by mentoring staff.
We seek an Audit Partner, with an active CPA license, and current experience in public accounting with a regional or national firm to join our growing firm. Our ideal candidate is energetic, outgoing, has a can-do attitude, and strong audit and technical accounting skills.
This is a great opportunity to join a large, regional Top 30 CPA firm that offers excellent opportunities for business development and professional growth. You will oversee a staff of 12-15 direct reports and have lots of contact with outstanding clients in a variety of industries including technology, distribution, real estate, and manufacturing. Approximately, 35% of the clients are public so prior SEC experience is a necessity. SOX experience is not required. Position will be primarily focused on clients in South Florida and limited travel (25%) in this region should be expected. Strong business development and exceptional client relations skills are a must! Fluency in written and spoken Spanish desired, but not necessary.

Superior client-serving skills.
Minimum of 10 years experience with a large local, regional or national public accounting firm.
Prior SEC experience.
Experience with technology, distribution, real estate, or manufacturing clients preferred.
Proficiency with personal computers including spreadsheet software programs. Prior experience with ProSystem fx, CCH, RIA, Engagement Manager, Go Audit or other accounting systems.
EDUCATION and LICENSES
Bachelor’s degree in accounting. Masters preferred.
Must be CPA certified and have an active CPA license.
Willingness and ability to travel as required, approximately 25%.
Frequent obligations outside of the typical work day (i.e. breakfast or dinner meetings) to participate in relationship development activities.
