Auditing seeks a motivated individual who consistently demonstrates a strong work ethic and high level of integrity to join the Customer Operations section of Auditing. The successful candidate must have completed an Undergraduate Degree preferably in Accounting, Engineering, Finance, Science, or Business Administration and two years of work experience. The role requires conducting performance, operational, financial and compliance audits; providing consulting services to the organization's management and staff; and carrying out the risk-based Auditing Plan. Maintains all organizational and professional ethical standards and ensures all internal audit activities are in compliance with the IIA International Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing (Standards). The successful candidate performs work in support of Auditing’s vision. The successful candidate is organized, possesses strong attention to detail, manages time effectively, and meets established deadlines. The candidate also possesses excellent oral and written communication skills, is able to work well with others, make a positive contribution to the overall team goals; and understand basic business processes and/or financial systems.

Seeking certification (CPA, CFE, CIA, CISA) or other qualification. Basic understanding of segregation of duties concepts and may have exposure to Oracle EBS and/or Oracle GRC.

Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the Company's service territory is required as well as performing other related assignments.

Responsibilities:
Aligned with Auditing’s mission, work within the Customer Operations section to provide customer-focused, value added Auditing and Advisory services that are objectively conducted with a high level of professional and ethical standards. Conduct audits that will review Customer Operations and Energy Procurement to assess: compliance with policies, procedures, and regulations and effective controls over systems, programs, and cost management. The successful candidate will comply with all organizational and professional ethical standards and ensure that audits performed comply with the IIA International Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing (Standards). The candidate will maintain strict confidentiality and demonstrate sound judgment in decisions. The successful candidate will identify the most appropriate computer application relevant to the work being performed and may perform basic data analytics.
