Perform audit activities for various areas of the bank. Activities include understanding risks of the business, determining control objectives and ensuring audit programs are executed appropriately to test those objectives. Demonstrate sufficient knowledge of required auditing standards, accounting policies, applicable laws and regulations, etc. Assist and/or supervise audit team members in the performance of internal audit fieldwork for audit areas assigned by audit management. Assist in the development of audit programs that clearly and accurately indicate method to achieve all desired objectives.

Qualifications

This position will be a part of the Finance Audit team.

Bachelor's degree required, Accounting or Finance preferred, and 0-2 years of internal audit experience. Excellent oral and written communication skills are required. Proficiency with Word and Excel required.

May be filled at the Auditor I or Auditor II depending on experience.

Position is located in the Regions Center - Birmingham, AL.
