Automation Sales Representative- Houston, Texas R. Stahl is seeking an Automation Sales Representative to help grow our Automation business. Keep reading to see if you qualify for this position, if so please apply by sending your resume to : jobs@rstahl.com

Primary Responsibilities:

Achieve annual automation sales goal for Houston
· Achieve annual new product sales goal for Houston
· Target DCS & PLC manufacturers to participate in project sales
· Target Global R. STAHL customers to expand sales relationship
· Target existing & new OEM customers by NAICS to expand customer sales base
· Focus on top end-customers to sell automation interface products & solutions
· Create & implement an Automation Target Customer Sales “Growth” Plan
· Target Top “10-15” key end-customers for automation & electrical sales
· Promote new products and technological system advantages
· Conduct Technical Automation Training Classes
· Communicate automation sales successes with other sales personnel
· Participate in North American Automation Industry Technical Committees
· Evaluate competitors sales strategies and supply products, literature & weaknesses
· Identify end-customer application issues and communicate to Marketing & Engineering
· Educate & Training: Internal & external sales, customers, distribution & industry
· Participate in automation industry sales trade shows & conferences
· Other sales duties as required
Education and/or Experience:
· Preferred: BS Degree in Automation Control Engineering
· Alternative: BS Degree in Electrical Engineering or BS in Marketing
or minimum of five (5) years in automation industry control wiring
· Three (3) to five (5) sales experience with automation control manufacturer
Skills and Abilities:
· Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel & PowerPoint
· Experienced in customer relationship management software (Act, Goldmine, etc.)
· Good Communication Skills One-One and Group Technical Presentations
· Proven sales successes in the Industrial Process industry
· Respect of end-customers, EPC firms and OEM accounts
